Purpose of the License
EFVD awards licenses based on performance, conduct, preparation and event fit. A license cannot be purchased. Selected Licensed Drivers can then activate their place with a $40 CAD pass covering registration for all three events in the split.

Driver Pathway
When EFVD opens a season, drivers may apply for its limited Licensed Driver roster or choose individual Wild Card events. EFVD awards licenses after staff review; the license cannot be purchased. A selected driver accepts the private offer before activating the three-event place with the $40 CAD season pass.

Accept and confirm
Acceptance assigns Licensed Driver status. Season-pass payment by the deadline confirms the three-event place; if payment is not completed, Event Ops may release the position while keeping individual-event eligibility.

Status Benefits and Restrictions
Licensed status helps EFVD identify drivers who consistently meet competition, preparation, reliability and conduct standards.

License Eligibility
EFVD reviews the complete candidate pool and the evidence available for each driver. Previous EFVD participation helps but is not required; strong applicants may also come from other competitions or be new to EFVD.

Promotion Process
Selection happens through the announced season application. Staff considers the application, EFVD history when available, preparation, driving quality, reliability, technical readiness and conduct.

Number Reservation Policy
Driver numbers support broadcast clarity and driver identity, but number use still depends on EFVD rules and availability. Licensed drivers may have priority when numbers are assigned or reserved.

A preferred number may not be available if already assigned or reserved.
Numbers must be visible
Car liveries should make driver identification clear in stream, replay and screenshots.
Numbers can change
EFVD may adjust number use for event organization or future season structure.

Activity and Inactive Status
Licensed drivers are expected to stay connected to EFVD activity enough for staff to understand their current readiness and keep their status active.

Probation and Removal
Licensed status can be limited, reviewed or removed when a driver no longer meets EFVD standards. These outcomes document how status may change after conduct, activity, technical or procedure issues.

License Agreement Text
Holding a license means accepting EFVD competition standards every time you enter an event. Licensed status does not override event rules, technical rules or staff direction.
