Event Participation
Event participation is handled through Discord announcements, applications, selected driver lists and event-specific instructions.

| Can underage drivers apply? | Yes, but EFVD may request parent or guardian consent before participation. |
| Where do I register? | Use the Discord process announced for that event. |
| What happens after selection? | Complete tech, install content, attend briefing and follow event instructions. |
| What timezone are events in? | Discord event times use timestamp formatting so drivers can view the schedule in their local time. |
| What if I miss briefing? | Show up for briefing. Staff may refuse late drivers, but if you are late or unsure, load in when your group is active and wait for staff direction. |
| Can I leave after elimination? | Yes, eliminated drivers may leave unless staff asks them to remain. First, second and third place must stay for the podium ceremony unless staff approves otherwise. |
| Can I bring a spotter or media person? | Drivers may request spectator, spotter or media server access through Discord, but access is not guaranteed. |
| Can I use private voice chat? | Yes. Drivers may use private comms with a spotter or teammates as long as they stay ready for staging and live calls. |
| Can I stream my POV? | Yes, if it does not disrupt event flow, leak restricted content or conflict with staff instructions. |
| Do I need a license? | No for discovery and applications. Licensed status is earned later. |

Cars and Technical Rules
Cars must pass EFVD technical requirements before they can be used in competition.

| Can I use any car? | No. Cars must meet eligibility, visual, file, physics and optimization rules. |
| Are controllers or keyboard allowed? | No. EFVD competition requires a wheel setup, and staff may request proof at any time. |
| What happens if event files are leaked? | Leaking, uploading, repacking or redistributing private cars, tracks or event assets can lead to a ban. |

Qualifying and Battles
Qualifying and battles are the core EFVD competition format.

| How does qualifying work? | Drivers complete judged solo runs for ranking. |
| How is qualifying order set? | Staff arranges groups and run order for event flow and show quality. Drivers must follow the posted order unless staff says otherwise. |
| How is the bracket built? | Standard events target Top 32 when possible. The official bracket is built from qualifying rank and shared through Discord or the event document. |
| How do battles work? | Drivers lead once and chase once in tandem matchups. |
| What do judges evaluate? | Line, angle, proximity, control, corrections, contact and overall advantage. |
| How is a battle won? | Judges vote after both runs. Majority vote wins, or OMT may be called. |

Restarts, DNF and DQ
Restarts, DNF and DQ decisions are controlled by judges and staff during live event flow.

Licenses are reviewed status, not automatic entry for joining.
Entry status
A driver who can apply for events.
Selected event driver
A non-licensed driver selected for a specific event.

A driver with EFVD-reviewed competition status.

How registration fees, prize funds, staff funds, operations funds and sponsorship revenue are handled.
